"Ladies' Man"

SiQi aka Coco called yesterday.

Shukri received his first phone call from a girl yesterday...Coco (his good friend from Learning Seeds) called & wanted to chit-chat. But Shukri was not at home. We tried calling her when he came back but she was not in..Sigh... We shall try again..

Two weeks ago I found this big piece of paper in Shukri's school bag. One girl in his class drew some pictures & added her telephone number for Shukri. Ha ha...Boy..do they start young these days...

As for Sadiq, we just realized that he will be the only BOY in his K2 class next year...Oh dear.

"Cunning"

Sometimes I am amazed by how my kids think...The other day, I wanted to give the kids gelato as a treat so..
Me: "Sadiq, are you coughing?"
Sadiq (after a moment of silence): "What are we eating?"

There is a bakery near their childcare so as a treat I told my kids that we can buy hot dog buns to bring to school. But we will only buy once a week. Initially they adhered to this rule but subsequently they started to buy other kinds of buns eg cheese, blueberry instead of hot dogs. Why? So they can buy buns every day until Friday (which they will decide on hot dogs buns) as they have not eaten any hot dogs for the week. "Cunning"...

Afternote: The school has since put a stop to this practice as the students were comparing breakfast in school. Phew!!
