Is THE time here already?

Shukri has been feeling unwell since Sunday so I took him to see the Doc on Monday's evening. After I paid the $, I turned to leave when I heard the twenty-something nurse calling "Auntie, Auntie, the MC". What??!! Was it ME???!!!! Is it the time now for younger generation to call me Auntie?? HHmm...I wonder...

Sadiq...Sadiq

Two nights ago, we were on our way back from Nenek's & Sadiq asked me this:
Sadiq: "Mummy, is it when you grow up, your stomach will grow big & a baby will come out?".
Me :"Eh..no. You need to get married first."
Just then, Shukri asked me about something & I thought "Phew, end of conversation with Sadiq."
Then, Sadiq said" Is it people will shoot & you will fall in love?".
Me (thinking to myself..what shooting??!! Aiyah...the Cupid lah)..I told him it doesn't happen like that ..& luckily Shukri asked me other things again...& I don't have to continue with THE conversation..PHEW...until the next time his little mind start wondering again...

English Topical Test

Shukri scored 19 over 20 in his first English Topical Test. Unfortunately, he was not happy with his score as it was not 20/20. We told him that as long as he did his best, Papa & Mummy are happy with him. He just need to try harder the next time.

Trademark of the Teo sisters

Yesterday was Sat's..so as per usual, all the kids had their swimming lessons followed by lunch at Ai Peng's house. The kids had their usual noodles (cooked by Ai Lee) while the adults ordered KFC. The sisters ie Ai Lee, Ai Peng & me (TAW) were having our normal bickering over something Ai Lee did or said...when suddenly Shukri said " The sisters are very fierce." So we asked him, who is the most fierce among the sisters..the order according to Shukri..Ai Lee, Ai Peng, Me & Ivy. In another survey conducted last Dec, according to Ryan, Joel & Ian..the order was Ai Peng, Ivy & Ai Lee. Lay See was the least fierce. Well, Shukri, we sisters are famous for our temper.

And this is Shukri, the BIG Boy who is in Primay 1 (1 Peace). Hippee...Glad to report that he has adjusted very well to school. Papa & Mummy are very proud of you, our dear Shukri!!

Finally, I know how to upload photo..BTW, this is His Excellency, Sadiq, King of an African Tribe. (They are learning about continents & other countries in school now).

Shukri & Sushi

Shukri loves to eat the crabstick sushi so naturally he was very happy that BTPS's canteen sells them. So happy that he has been eating them during recess (everyday) since the 2nd week of school until last week. He simply refused to try other food.

He finally stopped eating them when he had bad stomach cramps last Monday which lasted for 4 days. It has been home-made sandwiches since last Friday. Thank goodness...but not for long cos he has been asking when he could eat sushi again..Arghhhhh. I just hope he won't just eat sushi for throughout the six years.

Affectionate Sadiq...

These days, Sadiq likes to hug me & say to me "Mummy, I like you" or "Mummy, I love you". Even when he sleeps, I have to be with him. He even has a funny habit of "smelling" me. And he only says them to me...not to his papa & Shukri. Guess I better enjoy them while it lasts...before he finds a girlfriend. ha ha
